Wish Honors Teen’s Cancer Battle and Loving Memory

LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. (May 2023): Ire was struggling with diffuse midline glioma (DIPG), a rare type of brain tumor that rapidly deteriorated his health. He was put on life support. Kids Wish Network worked quickly to make his dream come true, but the aggressive cancer swiftly took his life. Ire’s wish continued in a very special way. Kids Wish Network provided his family with generous financial assistance to help alleviate the financial stresses of his medical care during his valiant cancer battle. Kids Wish Network also helped his family with its A Child Forever funeral assistance program to honor his loving memory.

Ire’s siblings were also honored on their journey of healing, being awarded Heroes of the Month, another Kids Wish Network program that brings happiness to children going through life altering situations with bravery.

Many Thanks

Kids Wish Network could not have provided assistance to Ire’s family without the help of its caring and generous supporters. Visit www.kidswishnetwork.org to learn about our different programs.

Kids Wish Network has been making dreams come true for children since 1997. We are dedicated to infusing hope, creating happy memories, and improving the quality of life for children experiencing life-altering situations. We started with the single purpose of granting wishes to children suffering from life-threatening conditions but have since created additional programs to benefit kids nationwide, including Hero of the Month, Project Toy Drop, Holiday of Hope Gift Banks, and A Child Forever Funeral Assistance.
