Lodge Getaway Filled with Water Play in the Great Indoors

SOUTH POINT, Ohio. (February 2024): Adam loves being in the water and splashing around, it brings out his most happy self. Kids Wish Network made his dream come true, purchasing generous gift cards for the Great Wolf Lodge. His family can pick the location of their choice. The Great Wolf Lodge is a family-friendly resort with a massive indoor water park filled with slides and play zones, along with adventure themed indoor activities. With so much water play on property, it’ll be a getaway full of smiles at Adam’s happy place.

Adam was born with a single ventricle, spina bifida and epilepsy. When he was born his spine was protruding, and he underwent surgery to close up his back. Within a few months, he had two more back surgeries, a shunt implanted for hydrocephalus, shunt revision and heart surgery. At six months old, he began having infantile seizures, followed by grand mal seizures, leading up to focal seizures. He’s been through 24 surgeries, and takes many medications, some are to help manage his epilepsy. He undergoes physical, occupational and speech therapies.

Many Thanks

Kids Wish Network could not have provided this wish to Adam without the help of the many supporters who believe in making wishes come true for kids who need hope. Visit www.kidswishnetwork.org to learn about our different programs.

Kids Wish Network has been making dreams come true for children since 1997. We are dedicated to infusing hope, creating happy memories, and improving the quality of life for children experiencing life-altering situations. We started with the single purpose of granting wishes to children suffering from life-threatening conditions but have since created additional programs to benefit kids nationwide, including Hero of the Month, Project Toy Drop, Holiday of Hope Gift Banks, and A Child Forever Funeral Assistance.

Every kid’s wish is worth the investment because every wish changes a life.

If you would like to sponsor a child’s wish, or if you know a child who is suffering from a life-threatening illness and may be in need of Kids Wish Network’s wish-granting services, please call 727-789-0008.
