Wish Kid to Enjoy a Tropical Aquatic Getaway in Alabama

FOLEY, Ala. (August 2023): Zackariah was born premature at 26 weeks, he weighed less than two pounds. There were so many uncertainties, and he remained in the NICU for nearly 6 months. Zackariah has cerebral palsy and epilepsy, and also struggles with additional complications that affect his eyes, hearing, feeding, cognitive skills and mobility. Zackariah crawls and utilizes his wheelchair to get around, and has faced many challenges with therapies. He currently sees 14 specialists, and had over 200 medical appointments this past year alone.

Zackariah has the widest and brightest smiles when he’s in the water, he loves being able to move around so much more freely. Kids Wish Network made his dream come true with tickets to Tropic Falls OWA, a massive tropical indoor water park with all types of wet play zones under a convertible glass roof. Tickets for his family were courtesy of the attraction. Kids Wish Network also purchased a generous Hotels.com gift card, enabling his family to choose their preferred accommodations for their tropical aquatic getaway.
